October 2005: TopoSys participates at Intergeo 2005 with a new strategy
Adequate to the 10 years anniversary, TopoSys has been presented itself at Intergeo 2005 with a new booth design. Separated into two business segments - lidar services and lidar systems - the three new sensor systems have been on display to the trade visitors. Accordingly, there was a rush at the booth during the whole show.
We would like to thank all visitors for the very interesting discussions we had. The strategical orientation towards precise laserscanning for our service business and the comprehensive sensor family ranging from a low-cost system up to a high-end wide area mapping system and a perfectly adapted corridor mapping system has been approved. "Due to optimised products and an outstanding support and customer benefits, we will increase our market share in the service business and also become the third big name in the global sensor business", Managing Director Alexander Wiechert says, "It is very encouraging that our new strategy already has been validated by the signature of an LOI regarding the delivery of a sensor system during the show".

August 2005: Falcon II certified for Russia
TopoSys is proud to announce that the certification of the Falcon II for Russia by the government authority Gosstandard has been passed.
Falcon II now is listed as an officially certified geodetic measurement system and accredited for Lidar scanning in Russia.
Currently only very few sensor systems have a valid certification for Russia but world-wide there is no other sensor system except the Falcon II which has been certified for enhanced accuracy.
This is a direct result of the fiber based system concept that avoids any mechanics for Laser beam deflection and though avoids mechanical errors in a very critical component. Also the outstanding pulse rate of 83 kHz, which is kept constant up to 1,600 m, has had a significant impact to achieve the extended accuracy, as this is also not achieved by any other sensor system.
The certification has been performed in co-operation with PRIN, Moscow, the exclusive partner of TopoSys for Russia.

April 2005: Full speed ahead into 2005
A new age is dawning at TopoSys GmbH. At the beginning of 2005, the company was taken over by a group of private investors and the company members, finances and the company itself were reorganised for the long term and the company was consistently geared to success. More here (DE, EN).
