October 2004: TopoSys presents at the Lidar Symposium of the British Geological Survey
TopoSys has been invited to the symposium to talk about "Precise Laser Scanning und True-Ortho Images". We inform the attendees on relevant aspects, possibilities and limits of the Airborne Laser Scanner technology. This enables the attendees to chose the right scanner for their projects and to ensure the success of their projects.

October 2004: TopoSys takes a very positive stock of the Intergeo 2004
Intergeo - known as the meeting place in Europe - has already closed the doors. We would like to thank all visitors of our booth for the interesting discussions. Once more we have seen the increasing need for precise Laser scanning and related sensor systems which only can be served by TopoSys and the Falcon system. A lot of interest has been attended to the newly developed Falcon IIc, due to its realization of the roll angle compensation. "We already look forward to the dialog with our customers at the exhibition next year", Managing Director Alexander Wiechert says, "as it shows how prominent the position of TopoSys is in the market and this confirms the direction we follow".

July 2004: TopoSys at ISPRS
TopoSys presents at the ISPRS, Istanbul, a new approach to precise and reliable Lidar scanning. It allows to use Lidar scanning for completely new applications. More here (EN).

May 2004: TopoSys at ASPRS
TopoSys joined the show in Denver as exhibitor, sponsor and issued a paper, too. During the show TopoSys North America has been presented and a lot have taken the opportunity to meet in person. May 2004: TopoSys North America founded:
TopoSys North America was founded in April 2004 with the mission of marketing the Falcon LIDAR system in the USA, Canada and Mexico. More here (EN).

April 2004: Third Falcon in operation:
TopoSys puts the third Falcon into operation for its own service. TopoSys thereby responds to the sustained development of its service operations and boosts its production capacity.

March 2004: TopoSys offers used Falcons:
Induced by the high demand for cost-effective high-end LIDAR systems, TopoSys now also offers used systems. More here (EN).

February 2004: TopoSys relocates:
In consequence of the increasing sale of services, TopoSys relocates closer to the "Biberach" airfield. More here (DE, EN, FR).
